2. The acronyms SOPA and PIPA stand for Stop Online Piracy Act and Protect IP Act.
3. The two bills are about, SOPA is a bill that was introduced in the United States House of Representatives on October 26, 2011, by House Judiciary Committee Chair Representative Lamar S. Smith (R-TX) and a bipartisan group of 12 initial co-sponsors. PIPA is presented to the House Judiciary Committee, it builds on the similar PRO-IP Act of 2008 and the corresponding Senate bill.

1. Google is going dark today to protest against two Congressional bills that aim to cut out copyright violations.

1. Wikipedia went dark today to protest SOPA and PIPA. Also co-founder Mr.Wales wants to send a definitive message.
2. PIPA stands for Protection IP Act. SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act.

4. One popular websites that are going dark are Reddit. One other main website is BoingBoing.

1. Wikipedia went dark yesterday in protest against SOPA and PIPA, the two Congressional bills who want to block access to websites with links to copyrighted material.
2. SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act and PIPA stands for Protect IP Act.
3. The two bills are about property-rights and stopping infringement. Their goal is to stop people from stealing works and to create more jobs because they think it will encourage new writings, products and services.
